Nicole A. Paige is an associate practicing in the firm’s litigation group. Nicole routinely handles a wide variety of complex commercial and employment litigation matters, including issues arising from breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, tortious interference, unfair competition, fraud, and employment-related disputes.

Nicole represents both plaintiffs and defendants at all stages of litigation, including in proceedings seeking emergency injunctive relief, trials, and appeals. Nicole regularly conducts written and electronic discovery, prepares and defends witnesses for depositions, drafts dispositive motions, and argues discovery-related motions.

Nicole received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School where she served on Notre Dame’s Moot Court Board and as Senior Managing Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. Nicole also holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of California, San Diego, where she obtained highest honors in Political Science.

  • Facilitated favorable resolution for large property holdings group against Plaintiff alleging breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, and fraud (Tex. Dist. Ct.)
  • Representing Appellee, prominent Texas roofing company, against State of Texas, asking the Supreme Court of Texas to decide whether sections of the Texas Insurance Code are content-based restrictions on speech and subject to strict scrutiny under the First Amendment (SCOTEX)
  • Facilitated favorable resolution for leading data aggregate company against Plaintiff alleging Fair Labor Standards Act violations and seeking collective action certification (N.D. Tex.)
  • Defeated 12(b)(6) motion to dismiss on behalf of electric automotive company alleging multi-million-dollar trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and unfair competition (C.D. Cal.)
  • Representing billion-dollar mechanical construction and facilities service company in an action for breach of contract and trade secret misappropriation, with Plaintiff seeking permanent injunction (W.D. Tex.)
  • Representing Appellant, large Dallas hospital system, seeking clarification from the Supreme Court of Texas as to the proper causation standard for disability discrimination claims under the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act (SCOTEX)
  • Successfully prepared and defended owner/CEO of third-party entertainment company, at risk of being joined in a lawsuit by Plaintiff alleging trademark infringement, unfair competition, and tortious interference (E.D. Tex.)
