Jesus Cano is an associate in the technology/intellectual property law group, focusing on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. He represents clients across various fields, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, telecommunications, clean technologies, medical devices and procedures, electronics, semiconductors, and transportation.

As a patent attorney, Jesus advises clients through invention disclosure meetings, drafting responses to USPTO Office Actions, managing patent portfolios, and counseling stakeholders on patent strategies. He offers a unique perspective as a former patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Jesus received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
