Munck Wilson Mandala partner Michael McCabe was selected as one of D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas for 2018. McCabe is the co-chair of MWM’s employment and labor law practice and leads the firm’s employment litigation cases.

Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor and Employment Law, McCabe is a skilled trial lawyer known for breaking down the facts in complicated cases and connecting with the juries. He was a member of the MWM litigation team that won a $77 million judgment on behalf of their client for theft of trade secrets in 2015, earning a top verdict title that year, and in 2016, McCabe convinced the Texas Supreme Court in a 6-3 decision to dismiss a doctor’s defamation suit against his client, a television station. McCabe frequently negotiates executive employment agreements on behalf of his clients.
McCabe is a frequent presenter on employment law topics for clients and bar associations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association and he serves on the board of directors for Head Start of Greater Dallas, a nonprofit organization focused on delivering quality early childhood education. McCabe received his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
