Munck Wilson Mandala has added corporate and real estate finance partner John J. Tucker to the award-winning transactional group. Tucker brings more than 20 years of experience, representing clients in corporate and real estate finance matters. He was previously a partner at Fisher Broyles LLP in Dallas.
Tucker is well known for his effective representation of funds, investment banks, lenders, and other key players in commercial real estate. He represents clients in connection with commercial mortgage loan origination and servicing, securitization, and other secondary market transactions. He has significant experience in all aspects of commercial real estate finance, including structuring and advising clients with respect to warehouse and repurchase facilities, preferred equity, mezzanine, subordinate and pari passu financings, as well as whole loan sales, participations, splits and syndications.
Additionally, Tucker represents REITs, private equity funds, and other investors in the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of various CRE and he works with clients in the acquisition and disposition of distressed assets, including workouts and restructurings, foreclosures, discounted payoffs and REO sales.
Tucker received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, and he holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Alabama.
