Munck Wilson Mandala is proud to add litigation partner Michael Song to the firm’s award-winning litigation practice. Song brings more than 17 years of litigation experience, with an impressive record of winning high-stakes patent litigation cases.

Prior to joining MWM, Song was a partner at LTL Attorneys LLP, one of Los Angeles’ largest litigation-only, minority owned law firms. Song’s legal experience also includes working at two AmLaw 100 firms, representing clients in a wide variety of litigation and intellectual property matters.
Song represents clients in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, mechanical, medical devices, automotive, computer hardware and software, electronics, semiconductors, financial services, and various consumer products. He has an impressive record of representing both plaintiffs and defendants in litigations and arbitrations, including recovering over a hundred million dollars for his clients and resolving numerous cases on motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.
Song’s addition boosts MWM’s highly regarded intellectual property team, with more than 30 registered patent attorneys, and a combined 900+ years of technical and life science background. It also boosts MWM’s LA office up to 11 attorneys, providing legal services in IP, litigation, entertainment, corporate, and various other practices.
Song received his J.D. (intellectual property concentration) from George Mason University School of Law. He also holds an M.S. in biomedical chemistry from Thomas Jefferson University and a B.S. in biomedical engineering (mechanical engineering concentration) from Johns Hopkins University.
